How it took me so long to visit the cafe in The Vintage Emporium I will never know. But I have now, and I am glad. Tea and scruffy dogs. Brilliant.

If there is one thing I have learnt since starting university it is that I really need to go get my eyes tested. I am not currently a bespectacled lady but if it must be I know I want something that looks really good. It won't be Specsavers own for me when Retrospecs have a great selection of retro styles.

And if I don't need glasses? Well they have a pretty sweet selection of sunglasses too. And everyone needs those.

I won’t lie, it is exactly the kind of mindless viewing I enjoy. But what I did realise is exactly how ridiculous it is for most women to wish they were a model.....
