Friday, I'm in love.

Seriously tempted to get this to wear to the gig.

The Black Keys dress up kit.

I was bored and cold and I wanted to bake. Although because of aforementioned cold I didn't want to go out. Using Supercook to see what I could make with what I had I came across these Cinnamon Shortbread. Nice.

This is me when I learn to drive. Or not.

I am beyond cold.

Ah, look, there is a proper video for M.I.A now

The Strange World of Karl Lagerfeld.

To celebrate his collaboration with the always amazing Net-a-porter Mr. Lagerfeld has filmed an interview for the site. So far, so normal? Well he interviewed himself.....

Very strange.

And then Azealia Banks performed at his house.

Which to be honest looks like the most awkward audience to perform to ever.

Friday I'm in love.

Maybe you love him and would never light it, maybe you can't stand the meat hating man and can't wait to melt this effigy of his head. Either way I love this Morrissey candle.

I have a bit of a thing for this necklace too.

(Don't look at the price! Eeek.)

On a (way) cheaper note, I think I will be buying this.

I am obsessed with Pintrest. Do you pin? Send me your links.

Don't even click this link if you are on a diet! But if (like me) you are happy to drink something with butter in, go ahead.

Friday, I'm in Love.

Last week was (hopefully) a one off.

I know this great little place in London... and The Blog

At The Sinema

Shall we have some more White Stripes? Why not.

And then lets listen to Jack White with my new, favourite obsession The Secret Sisters

Young British Designers - Wow, I am have to exercise massive restraint when I look at this site.

News Stand - Same here!

Farewell.

Not to me! The White Stripes. No I am not the bigest fan but they do fill me with happy, last years of school memories. So lets listen to one of my favourites.

And let us appreciate their simple aesthetic of red, white and occasionally black.

Long Distance Love.

I have a friend who once told me she only believes you can know if a couple are right for each other if they have gone through a struggle. I suppose I believe in that too to an extent. My love struggle is being separated from the one person I want to be with constantly because of university. Its hard. Very hard. But not impossible. So here is my long distance love guide. You will probably have heard these tips before, but that is because they work!

Can You Keep A Secret?

For a start it is no secret that I do not do New Years Eve, well not in the usual dress up, get drunk, spend too much money way. I did indeed dress up, knock back some cider and wine and go out but only as far as the local Chinese restaurant (Sichuan Folk -  by the way, I would recommend). So me and my man were back and under the duvet with more booze in time for Jools Holland. I was getting a little bored of the acts if I am honest until these two popped up. The Secret Sisters. They have a wonderfully haunting quality to their music, and I think thy will come into their own on those balmy, sweat covered summer nights when you can't sleep. Trust me.

Pssst... I know this is not the Jools performance but its lovely nonetheless.

Merry Christmas Baby.

Happy Christmas, if this doesn't make you smile then you have problems.
